We need far more than a wealth tax, which would merely be a bandage over a gaping wound. The wealthy need to be abolished. They are the primary cause of the climate crisis and the ongoing conflicts throughout the world. And as long as a wealthy class persists, there will always be impoverished classes suffering relative to them.
