I always thought that since she blocks any Admin who doesn't 100% agree with her, that it is then a foregone conclusion that, given enough time, she would become the first self-defederated instance. But, now, she'll have to be the 2nd as someone else has wholly de-federated by blocking.
@BeAware sometimes I want to start an instance and follow literally everyone on fedi, just to see how much network/CPU/storage that uses. I bet Masto just shits the bed after a few tens of thousands.
@schizanon Masto quite literally doesn't let you do this unless you make an account creation bot and an account follow bot. There's a 7,500 follow limit.🤷♂️ though I'm not sure if it's "hard coded" in a way that can't be easily changed.
@BeAware Wow ! But it is based on something very old. I found adresses of instances, not only Mastodon, but PeerTube, Mobilizon, Plume, etc., that I hosted several years ago, offline since a while. But instances I've created in the last year (~june of 2023) are not listed.
