I put some sheep’s wool in this old terracotta apple bird feeder that I can see from my dining table while I work…not a distraction at all of course!

The goldfinches in particular are most partial. Also great tits. Greenfinches and others seem to prefer the wool in a cage feeder on another tree.

Anyway, lots of cozy bird nests up and down our street are hopefully keeping eggs and baby birds warm and dry in this miserable wet weather we’re having (still!).
