@rbreich #BigPharma obviously has an edge over consumers by lobbying Congress and their financing campaigns. Each prescription in my husband's Medicare Part D has a separate deductible, I imagine set by some subsidized drug makers🤨
@rbreich Of course they opposed it because they or their predecessors put into the Medicare Prescription Drug, Improvement, and Modernization Act 2003 that Medicare should be prohibited from negotiating costs on Part D prescription medicines allowing the pharmaceutical manufacturers to charge whatever the liked in tax dollars.
