To the gaming/nerd community:

What is the best novelization of a game or movie series that you enjoy?

Prefer movies to be typically "nerdy" movies like star wars and such. Will also accept TV series novelizations as well like Doctor Who (if that's a thing)

Recommend me your books that flesh out your fandom from other media types.

@BeAware Halo has an amazing book series. Warhammer 40k has some good sets too.

@BeAware There are a ton of Doctor Who novels. I remember enjoying the first Resident Evil novel way back in high school....it was basically a walkthrough of the first game.

I know there's a lot of Graphic Novels/Comics but didn't know there were "novels" in the traditional sense!

@BeAware there have been Who novels for decades. I remember my dad having like half a bookshelf full of them when I was a kid in the early 90's.
