The largest caucus of House Republicans released a plan that cuts Social Security spending by $1.5 trillion.

These are the same Republicans pushing to extend the Trump tax cuts — which would add $3.5 trillion to the deficit.

None of this is really about addressing the debt.

Americans get their some meager social security taken away while GQP funnel trillions more to billionaires. This is the most vile perverted bunch of scumbags ever to exist in this country. They have their government pensions so they don't care. Pensions must be removed for all government employees. Everyone needs to be on social security. I also despise taxpayers bailing out union pensions. Why should we? They need to be on SS too.

Note also they are trying to cut $1.5 trillion "spending" but it's really payouts of money paid into the system by every american over the course of their life.

It's like putting away a few hundred dollars every month into savings, then when you go to make a withdrawal it's not there.

Because they took it.
