What makes you consider a TTRPG Indie ?

This is a fascinating question.

What qualities / qualifiers make a thing Independent?

@Faintdreams It's probably easier to define indie by who's not indie - like WotC. Defining by what is indie always seems to fall apart under scrutiny.

@Tim_Eagon I tentatively agree!

I'm mulling it over and am interested in what other people think.

Am friends with and know Professional RPG people and Hobbyist creators and so I'm firmly in the 'people should be able to make a living from creating' (outside of the Mainstream Big Publishers) camp, but I'm not sure if this is a majority opinion..
