"Even before the Supreme Court practically nullified the 14th Amendment’s clause banning insurrectionists and their supporters from seeking federal office, another decision all but ensured that outcome. And it was made by a single justice: Clarence Thomas….

And he should have played no part in the case’s consideration."

@wdlindsy I can not help but notice the use of insurrection. As you seemed to try and make transcend I suppose it's proper use.This use of Latinnized like ephamesims lol get it latinnized. Is more upsetting to me then the complete absurdity in the hole thing. Americans entered there capital in a not so gracefully way. I agree,but it was and is there capital as well.
These are our fellow Americans weather we agree with them or not. And their tax dollars not just yours or mine paid for and pays-

@wdlindsy
And Clarence Thomas could have recused hinself, leaving an even more powerful 8-0 decision.

The fact he stayed, shows an even higher level of contempt than I expected from him.

@TCatInReality Yes, absolutely. I honestly think we can expect nothing but contempt from Clarence Thomas. Corruption is his middle name, and as long as he gets away with it, he'll shower us with contempt for insisting he be held to any ethical standard at all.
