@philip_cardella @Beachbum @arstechnica Apple's marketing, even back in the 90s, showed they were pretty evil.

From back then I don't recall a single time they discussed the merits of their computers without spending at least twice the time shitting on everything else.

I'm pretty sure it wasn't until the iPod that Apple finally started to sell a product entirely on its own merits without attacking its competitors. They never really stopped using attack ads in the PC space
