It's kind of amazing how directly this old Sharkey comic from 1999 applies to the Yuzu story. All you have to do is update the Zelda game in the punchline.

    Explaining jokes kills them dead, but for those of you too young to get the references:

    The title gag is a reference to Prince who, due to a dispute with his record label, had changed his name to an unpronounceable symbol. The media typically referred to him as "the artist formerly known as Prince".

    The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time ("Zelda64") was a brand new game at the time this comic was made, definitely still available in stores and making Nintendo lots of money.

    I always wondered why he changed his name.

    I knew about record label disputes, but not the name change reason

    He sure was a determined guy. And man, was he talented.
