Wow. A lifelong Republican voter in Oklahoma just published an op-ed, saying how he “voted for Trump – twice” but that after reading “Liz Cheney's book & the DOJ Jan. 6 indictment,” he totally changed his mind & now will not support Trump this election. This is good.
@GottaLaff seriously! That is what it took. Although it is a positive. What needs to occur is for more of those people to develop a conscience. If you are being honest one has to scrutinize every politician and hold them accountable not give them a blank cheque. Only people with no moral compass can stand with that mess. Everyone my age knows the devil went down to Georgia and was beat by a guy that knew better.
@GottaLaff the right info at the time can change someone’s mind. The problem is, it has to have all the right factors unfortunately and it generally isn’t “do this” kinda thing. This is good though cause they will probably influence their family
@GottaLaff
This was so nice to read. I have two neighbors flying TFg flags and one with a "stand for the anthem, kneel for the cross" tire cover. I am always conflicted. I try to focus on the 100s of neighbors not advertising TFg, but there are no Biden statements. It is a bit scary here to have Democrat signage. I did before and had a group of young boys driving by my house repeatedly and shouting unknown things so I am not comfortable. It says a lot that it feels safe to have Republican ads but not Democrat ads.
I’m telling you, I know it’s 600 pages, but that J6 report is a must read. It is compellingly written and, even after watching the hearings, still shocking. I know it’s a big ask, but people need to read it.
