Fingers crossed that the Lords feck Sunak right up.

@Roadwarrior29 I'm sure they will but it's worth remembering, as @RolloTreadway reminded us yesterday, that the point has passed where any new primary legislation can be put on the statute book before the election.

@RolloTreadway @Roadwarrior29 Shit! That's what I meant. Trying to do too many things - and tech things, which I'm shite at - at the same time. Cheers buddy.
Agreed. The Lords are going to push back on this as hard as they can, and there's not a whole lot of sitting time (although I suppose Sunak could recall Parliament at some point) for it to get finalised, although that depends when the election is called. He might wait until Jan just so he can get this done.

@RolloTreadway @Roadwarrior29 Any Lords amendments will be in the wrong direction for Sunak to keep the headbangers on board, anyway.
I wouldn't put it past him to recall in the summer - he's just too arrogant to let the possibility slide. Unless it interferes with holibobs in Cali, of course.
Some commentary saying the called the presser basically to beg the Lords to pass it unamended. Like that would ever work.
As usual, we shall see and, as always, it'll be messy and embarrassing.
