This is how one of the politicians responded to a question about the bullying that lead to the death, likely murder of a child.
I don't think the people who are worried that the police questing for "toxicology reports" for the dead teen may indicate the signs of a cover up are being paranoid. It is reasonable.
@futurebird
The irony is these people are the saducees and pharisees Jesus was constantly poking fun at and correcting. They've fallen back on the dogma He preached against.
Toxicology reports are bullshit. So what if Nix even overdosed on painkillers? They were beat to a pulp and denied medical care. Even a clear overdose doesn't mitigate the school's, or the cops' culpability.
@futurebird "Toxicology reports" huh? Same old song and dance. Someone was (allegedly) on gasp a DRUG and so whatever we did to them before we knew that they were on a drug is retroactively justified.
Gosh I feel so much safer being protected from the drug.
@futurebird “We want to lower taxes and let people be able to live and work and go to the faith they choose."
Any faith they choose -- as long as it's the exact same Christian denomination that the Republican leaders in charge follow.
I don't know, for most of us "any" doesn't mean "only one is allowed."
I found it interesting that they emphasized that they want people working more. I don't even think they meant to make that part of this -- it's just such an integral part of their thinking.
