At this point I've come to realize that if someone famous dies and @GottaLaff doesn't say how nice they were to work with then they must have been a total jerk.
In my experience in the entertainment industry it was some of the people I thought would be great that turned out to a-holes (not all) and the ones I thought the opposite mostly weren't.
1991 Nick Nolte was a prince and incredibly kind to me and other crew
Bob Hoskins was in town shooting a film and having drinks in the lobby of a hotel where I was shooting a commercial and I didn't even realize till I sat next to him. Amazingly nice and kind guy. Great laugh.
