A collection of founding chambers for young queens ready for the summer. Formicaria are reuse able if you get quality products. I just like the textures and shapes of these little spaces designed to have perfect light and humidity levels. Wood, ytong, plastic, glass— so many materials.

@futurebird so freaking cool. I wanted to be an ant scientist when I was younger — they were one of my fascinations. Your photos make me wish I had followed that path.

@futurebird oh, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to assume. I know there's a Latin name for ant scientists but I didn't want to even try spelling it on my phone 😂
