@deinol I have done some excursions back into the stuf I read as a little whelp, but I stopped doing that as it was never as good as I remembered it. Stuff has happened and I see many things in a different light and in some cases just my tastes have changed.
It will be interesting to see what you think.
Fair enough, but I do like revisiting them sometimes so I know whether or not I should still be recommending them to others. I have the feeling my opinions on Asimov will hold up better than my memory of Heinlein.
@TimWardCam they were both prolific, so once you get off their top ten lists there’s plenty the average reader might have missed. I think Double Star is one of the ones that makes Heinlein lists. I have probably read it, but I don’t know.
