They're cowards with enough money and position who think they're safe from either direction as long as they fuck the fence with a frown, and who believe if they wait long enough and pray hard enough, you and I will honor their fecklessness by becoming the "collateral damage" we elected them to defend against us ever having to be.
I don't expect them to stand any taller than they're already sitting for though.
@uspolitics Look, I like AOC, but this is not leadership & her words make a good sound bite, but are functionally useless. The US is entering an election with 2 poor choices. Saying “Get over it” does not help. Yes, it is imperative that Trump lose, but the time to change the narrative has almost expired. Stop the speeches & help organize the Democrats to convince Biden to step down & nominate a new candidate that can energize young voters. It is our democracy’s only chance.

@uspolitics Okaaaaaay. But it doesn't change the fact that Biden cannot beat Trump. AOC is essentially lying to herself and us, all because she's now on-track for one of our seats in the Senate. She is an establishment Democrat now. And Sanders! He's lying when he says that Biden has a chance.
