@Doreen32128 indeed. Germany is just insanely beautiful. It is such a shame that my parent’s generation mainly saw the highways, when driving through Germany to go to Italy or Spain. I am glad that my generation has been much more interested in exploring Germany.
@randahl My son, his husband, and two others are traveling from Las Vegas this week to Germany for a 3 week exploration. They are starting in Cologne and visiting other areas. I don't know the places they are going to visit, but it's certain to be a great trip.
@PattyHanson tell them to look up Sächsische Schweiz — the name literally means “The part of Saxony which looks like Switzerland”. That is the name of the southern part of Saxony right next to the border to The Czech Republic, and the location were all these photos were taken.
@randahl I'll do it. They are renting a car so will have the capability of creating their own itinerary. My son bought a new camera for the trip, and your photos are gorgeous.
