Well, let me tell you as someone who's ancestors died to make sure that happened, those aren't the things you think they are. The EP was used to just hurt the South's economy. Lincoln couldn't have cared less for the slaves he was freeing. The Civil Rights Movement is just a reform policy that has the very real possibility of being overturned once Fascism takes place.
