American fascism is far from inevitable. It too is largely bluff, most of it digital. The internet is much more fascist than real life, which is discouraging. But we vote in the real world. The crucial thing is the individual decision to act, along with others, for four months, a little something each day, regardless of the atmospherics and the polls and the media and the moods.
@DemocracyMattersALot@LindaCollins11 I’ve got to admit that I’m struggling mightily. The bad guys are winning at every turn. Every day it feels like there’s a new outrage. It’s like 2017 all over again, only worse. It’s hard to not start believing it’s all inevitable. I’m going to vote, that’s what I can do, and pray that those of us who don’t want this to happen will be enough.
