Gull swoops on the Sea Eagle

I could hear birds making a lot of noise and sure enough, the eagle was sitting in a tree just a few houses away. They will not tolerate it's presence at all.

A seagull swooping down on a Sea Eagle sitting in a dead tree. The gull is flying away from the camera, wings flat. The eagle is facing obliquely away to the right, and has turned it's head towards the camera to observe the gull, but is otherwise not bothered. It's feathers ruffle in the wind. The clouded sky behind is grey and featureless.

    I rated this one higher but for some reason I shared the one above.

    Didn't have time for a tripod for these, just dashed down the street and leant over a thin paling fence - in body stabilisation doing it's best to help my not-so-steady hands.

    A seagull swooping down on a Sea Eagle sitting on a dead tree branch. The gull is gliding away from the camera, wings flat, feet dangling and beak pointing downwards. The eagle is facing away to the right, and has turned it's head vertically to observe the gull just 30cm/1 foot above and left of it, but making no attempt to move. It's feathers ruffle in the wind. The clouded sky background is grey and featureless.
