Has anyone done an assessment of pollen found on ants and pollen available near the origin of those ants? I know nothing is that easy but it seems like a sampling and testing question that could be done.

My wild meat ants love the avocado flowers on our trees.🥑🐜💚

@futurebird My biology class had a guest lecturer that had tried to figure out how a particular plant was pollinated, it was unexpected, he studied bats and mice and insects. Spontaneous standing ovation. You would have to hypnotize me to remember who did the pollinating, but it was so refreshing to see all the possibilities.

I am actually surprised I couldn't find any pollinating ants on antwiki. But I did find a mention of an on example of comensual foraging ants repeling nectar theives but not pollinators:
