I have gone and democracied. There were tragically no dogs.

Despite double- and triple-checking, I'm still worried that I voted for the wrong candidate (the Labour, LibDem and Tory candidates were all right next to each other in alphabetical order).

This is the first time in my life that I've lived in a constituency where the result isn't a 100% certainty. Other constituencies I've lived in have been marginal at different times, but not whilst I've been there.

But here, we've had a Tory MP for exactly one hundred years, and there's a chance he could be removed today. It's good to have a useful vote for a change.

Provided that I put the cross in the correct box, of course.
