My cat Zilla seems mostly oblivious. But her brother, Zap, who is otherwise the toughest alpha cat you've ever seen, cowers under my bed all night, usually climbing up into the box springs for better protection. Here in SF, it's been pretty mellow this year. Only really started up in earnest last night. Usually, we get massive explosions pretty much every night for the entire months of June and July.
@MikeDunnAuthor not far from you but we’ve had fireworks around dusk for almost two weeks. It’s so dry and hot so I’m not looking forward to Thursday. Our cats are a mixed bag but we’ll have at least one we won’t see except to eat for days.
