Former Israeli peace negotiator on what will be necessary to stop the carnage in Gaza:

"It boils down to whether this administration, this president [i.e., Biden], actually wants to create circumstances in which Israel has hard choices to make, in which genuine American leverage is on the table."

As he also goes on to say, this is NOT what will happen if Trump is elected, so anyone interested in peace needs to work against that possibility.

@wdlindsy
Not that I’d ever vote for Trump but with 27,000 already dead in Gaza, you can conjecture whatever you want about how much worse he would be but Biden loses on this as a campaign issue any way you look at it.

@wdlindsy "Gaza assualt"? Are you crazy or just a fool?

There was a ceasefire in place before 7/10 and Hamas have said they have no intention of stopping their killing. After removing Hamas we need a process like post WW2 Japan and Germany.
