The hashtags tab has received a makeover and now includes the ability to create Hashtag Lists! Curate multiple hashtags into a single timeline that you can access the same way you can access regular Lists. Currently available to try on Mac and iOS over on TestFlight.
The last beta featured our new share sheet extension and we know it’s been a long wait for the App Store release, but we are almost there! Trying to finish up a few more tasks so we can get this big update out ASAP.
@ivory Now add a "hashtag drawer" feature to save individual hashtags with CamelCase inside the composer for re-use. Then, Ivory will have my most requested features on a single app that every other dev refuses to implement.
Does nobody use the same hashtags multiple times? Surely it gets annoying to have to type them in every single time...😬
@BeAware We already do that? When you hit the hashtag button in the toolbar of compose, we first display your featured hashtags and after that, your hashtag history.
@ivory the issue with that, is the CamelCase. I see it works for some, but not others and could never figure out why. Any insight? For example, I've used Fediverse as a hashtag for awhile now on Fedi related posts, but when I type in # + F I get fediverse with no caps.🤷♂️
It IS pretty good, but CamelCase is where I get confused why it's not saved.
@BeAware It should remember your CamelCased hashtag if it's still in your history or if you make it a featured hashtag. Here's a test showing it works as expected. I created a new post on a test account with 2 CamelCased hashtags and the second screenshot shows what pops up right when I tap the # key.
@BeAware Try to share screenshots or a video capture of it not behaving correctly. There's always a chance you are experiencing some bug we are unaware of.
