Reminder to anyone who lives where it's cold right now: if birds visit your garden (or balcony, yard, whatever), please make sure they have fresh liquid water. It can be very hard for them to stay hydrated when it freezes.
@RolloTreadway I am very worried about the hummingbirds who come to my feeder every day. It has been so cold that the nectar freezes within minutes of putting it out there. I think today it will get warm enough that it might stay liquid for a while.
