It's notable that Justice Engoron is demanding explanations from Trump's lawyers—but carefully cautions them "not to violate any of your professional ethics or obligations."
We're talking about lies here. Lies under oath. And there are serious consequences.
What we're seeing here is how a company that lied to banks... allegedly had its executive lie in court... & lawyers work around those lies.
👉🏼Trump isn't just losing his bank fraud case. His entire orbit is unraveling👈🏼
Engoron: "As the presiding magistrate, the trier of fact and the judge of credibility, I of course want to know whether Mr. Weisselberg is now changing his tune, and whether he is admitting he lied under oath in my courtroom... Although the Times article focuses on the size of the Trump Tower Penthouse his testimony on other topics could also be called into question. I also may use this as a basis to invoke falsus in uno"
Trump + minions lying about everything is a good assumption.
@GottaLaff Wow, not a very good news day for TFG, is it? Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.
I think an appropriate end for TFG would be that of Ishido in Shogun: Bury him up to his neck in sand and allow his no-longer-enraptured MAGAts saw at his neck with bamboo.
@GottaLaff If this is a real threat to him, Trump will just throw Weisselberg under the bus and say it was all him, maybe even claim that he was ripping off the poor innocent Trump organization for his own gain. That's his usual MO.
