So I'm new to #Mastodon and the #Fediverse. My #Twitter account was basically suspended back in September 2023 because I dared to defend the Armenians against Azerbaijani state-sponsored ethno-fascism and aggression. (For context, authoritarian Azerbaijan waged a war of ethnic cleansing against the ethnic Armenian community of Artsakh, a disputed territory in the South Caucasus region.) So much for #ElonMusk's "free speech" nonsense. Twitter is overrun by trolls affiliated to various regimes.
