    @vampiress the "too expensive to live but still kind of fun and not too far from the city" problem gets worse...

    If you only need to commute to the city (or Parramatta) Auburn is very definitely a funky weird place to live... (and does not seem to care too much about gay couples)

    @vampiress I’ve never thought of NIMBYs migrating to breed, like salmon. So they then die, to wash up in shoals of dead fish?

    @vampiress @stilgherrian there was a super weird example of this in Silicon Valley - all these toyshops, kids bookshops and kid friendly fancy cafes opened up in Los Altos Hills.
    It turned out Google founder Sergey Brin had bought up the shops to make them what he wanted for his family.
