I'm this current time, it's the very least I could wish. I look at the UK and see the shite storm they're going through (my father still thinks the Conservatives are still better for the people than anyone else 🤦). I remember in the 70's it did get bad, rubbish want collected, the dead weren't buried, strikes over the slightest indignation that people thought make was the best thing since sliced bread... Looking back, I realise that she was an extreme on the other side of the coin. She lead to the privatisation on all the industries, steel/rail/electricity even water (we now "enjoy" the dirtiest water in the west).
It wasn't until I came to the US that I realized just how fucking EVIL the right wing really is.
@GottaLaff please give yourself time to recover fully. Getting well is a process that cannot be speeded, although it can be slowed by pushing too hard (currently nursing 94 year old who still hasn’t got her brain around this!)

We’re just going through the inspection follow up now. So it’s a little slow at the moment. I dragged myself out of bed 2 days ago to tour the place with the inspector and get his full report. Basically fine, some cosmetic stuff.
The sellers need 2 mos to find a place, so we stay put for now.
