And here is the also recently updated global upper ocean heat content (0 to 700 m depth). Record high levels too! 🌡️

Line graph time series of global ocean heat content for the 0-700 m layer for 3 year averages (red line), yearly averages (black line), and five years averages from the late 1950s to 2024 (blue line). There is a long-term warming trend. Ocean heat content is measured in 10^22 Joules with a y-axis range form -10 to 35.
