Have y'all ever had someone act like you were hurting them somehow by just liking a food?

Any time I buy or make kimchi, my Mom says it's so gross and she doesn't want any and just on and on. I never offer it to her, or make group food with it, but for some reason she seems offended by it, and I don't know why.

@RickiTarr I've come across some people who get bizarrely angry about the existence of mayonnaise and are determined to somehow prove that it's wrong.

@RickiTarr @RolloTreadway Discovering the existence of no-sugar-added Duke's mayonnaise was a godsend for me.

mustard contains sugar for sure, about 3 grams per 100 g

@fredbrooker @RickiTarr @RolloTreadway Before I discovered sugar-free mayonnaise and mustard, I used to make my own. I made mayonnaise in the blender with canola or olive oil, egg, salt, a little dry mustard, a touch of cayenne, and lemon juice. It worked and tasted fine without sugar. I used to avoid vinegar, but when I found I could tolerate a little of it, I started buying the sugar-free versions of mayonnaise and mustard. The yellow and stoneground mustard are easily found in the store.

@RickiTarr @cherylgk @fredbrooker I keep intending to make my own. But I'm so lazy.
