Make an app with a feature for the post composer that's a "hashtag drawer" that lets you individually save hashtags WITH CamelCase for easy re-use.
In the same app, add a feature to create timelines with "hashtag groups" similar to Sharkey's native "antenna" feature.
Icecubes has hashtag groups but it's limited to 4 hashtags which is fine. But the "recent hashtag" feature doesn't seem to save CamelCase.
Moshidon/Megalodon has the antenna timeline feature built into the UI of their app, but it only works for Misskey/Sharkey instances. I'm sure it can be worked into the app somehow to work for Mastodon. PLEASE.
@BeAware If I understand correctly, No. 2 is natively built into Mastodon. I don't think there's any limit (or it's high enough that I haven't experienced it yet)
E. g. for Moshidon/Megalodon you can add more hashtags to a group by going to the timelines menu, tapping on a hashtag timeline, than show advanced.
@FineFindus 🤔 That's great. Thanks for the info about Moshidon/Megalodon. However, it's not built into mastodon I think. You can follow one at a time and then see them on your home feed natively on the web, However, seeing them in groups isn't a thing natively AFAIK.🤷♂️
@BeAware It is, though it may be only exposed in the deck/advanced interface.
Once you added a new hashtag column, there should be a settings icon to click, which shows the options to add or remove additional hashtags.

To answer your question, icecubes hashtag groups don't recognize hashtags that have exceeded 4 in a group. You can test this by adding 5 and trying to find a post with the 5th tag exclusively in the list, then search for the 5th tag independently and see posts that arent in the group.
@phpmacher well, I just know I get annoyed when I am spammed because someone tagged me in a popular post, therefore I request others to avoid doing the same thing because it's asinine that mastodon appends everyone's mentions in replies automatically
@RxBrad Yeah. The individual hashtags thing is just following hashtags, isn't it? If not, that's pretty cool, but alas, not as cool as hashtag groups.
However, the autocomplete from phone memory would be better than some of the other apps that populate it by instance known hashtags.
I have slight hope that these features will eventually become a thing on Moshidon, as the dev has liked this post. So, we can only wait and see.
I was thinking of offering a very small monetary bounty for the first devs to implement both of these features on each platform. However, given that a lot of these are FOSS apps, I'm not sure how to go about that, given that other people can contribute entire pull requests.🤷♂️
