Had a friend total up her gains from "work from home" policy:

1. Improved productivity (no distractions from overly chatty coworkers, no unneeded prolonged conversations with "desperate to prove my value" middle management)

2. Second car ownership not needed

3. Less outside expenditures (fewer meals out, business attire)

4. Childcare costs eliminated

5. Reduced insurance costs

6. Healthier lifestyle (time for exercise, home-cooked meals)

7. Less stress (no commuting
