Lately I've been following hashtags more than the following individual persons. Due to this my feed is always populated with something when I refresh but most of the data can be irrelevant. Overall, feature to follow hashtags is pretty decent one.
@iamwaseem It's so unfortunate. I literally just had to block a mutual follow for similar reasons. spamming irrelevant hashtags. It's just scummy engagement baiting and I don't put up with that shit. Every time I browse tags and see stuff like that, whoever is doing it goes to the blocklist
@iamwaseem yeah...I am on my own instance, so I have more of a reason to block them because I use relays to grab posts I don't follow so I can discover new stuff. Therefore if I don't block them, they'll still end up on my instance, just taking up disk space.🤷♂️
