A bust portrait of Father Callahan in clerical garb slightly turned as he holds a copy of SALEM'S LOT, cocked at his opposite shoulder as if ready for a backhand swing. His lips hold a tight line and eyebrows arch as blue eyes bore into the viewer. His white hair is windblown, sweeping above a high forehead etched roughly with a cross-shaped scar. Light hits from either side, highlighting high cheekbones and a face etched with wrinkles.
