What sort of traumas are you referring to?
I would’ve thought that social media, video games and Hollywood are just as much to blame. Everything is predigested for them.
These days it seems to an oldie like me that a child is not taught to think, debate or reason. I hope I’m quite wrong here.
To lose in a debate with your friends or adversaries can make you feel like a total idiot but you have to have these experiences to learn. I think they tend to try and protect children from these bad but necessary defeats and Smackdowns.
You need to be able to think and discuss logically, and compassionately too, to really be a functioning citizen as part of a democracy
