[2/2] … it into the cabin, and we deserve equal treatment. The rules don't have to be rigid; it is good if they are somewhat flexible. However, that flexibility should apply equally to all passengers, not in a discriminatory way based on a passenger's ethnicity or religion.

@rms It's fun to fly from country A to B to C and comparing notes on what was allowed onboard inside the cabin in country A but forbidden to be brought on in B or C while you know it is already inside the plane. Ceremonial or souvenir objects are the best. Never wander outside of security at B during a layover with your stuff unless you want to find out more about this while in possession of forbidden souvenirs.
