@dillyd I didn’t realise it was so widespread! We have loads here (I’m in the UK). As the roots are shallow and insects love it I just leave them to flower then pull them up once they’ve gone to seed.
@dillyd Funny, I saw the exact same plant yesterday here on the other side of the ocean in the Netherlands. I had to look it up. I learned that it is a common plant. But now I know how common 😀
@dillyd Signs of spring! When I lived in Seattle nearly 20 years ago, I lived adjacent to Freeway Park. In the summer when I slept with the windows open, I could hear the rumble of traffic all night long.
