I agree that threat is real. And I don't say this lightly: I hope there would be real chaos. I hope people who love the Great Experiment would at long last take out the long knives. It WOULD be 1776, but not in the way those traitorous oligarchs and ignorant fools think. With Al Gore in 2000 & Hillary Clnton in 2016, they & we accepted a questionable outcome, respecting what we thought was the rule of law. Never Again! If they try that shit there should be actual revolution.
@rbreich I keep seeing evidence—including in your articles—that U.S. democracy is on the precipice of failure. So much turmoil in the world, but the end of our democracy because there are too many Americans who would gladly trade that for a white Christian nationalist hyper-capitalist agenda would make everything that much worse.
U.S. citizens: Vote for Biden (even though his actions regarding limitless support for Israel is unethical)—it will be so much worse under a trump presidency.
