I really want to nip threads in the bud. Besides blocking threads.net itself, defederate from any instances that do not. This is blatantly an EEE strategy and a united front is the only way to save what have been accomplished....

From looking at their posts they were able to get enough performance to start caching popular tweets, that doesn't sound that expensive to me. Might get into hosting that soon but putting this out there in the hopes someone else does, I'm happy with my secluded option....

We sat down and interviewed Manton Reece, the creator of Micro.Blog. Micro.Blog is an IndieWeb platform with microblogging capabilities that marries a social experience with a more traditional personal website / blogging concept. It federates via ActivityPub, and has been a part of the Fediverse since 2018.
Bonfire continues to impress by showing off how its modularity can be applied not only different from factors, but different communities and purposes entirely. In this case, federated research.

Sora is a really cool iOS fediverse app that supports Mastodon, Misskey, Firefish, and Bluesky all at once. It's slick, has some incredibly innovative features, and is a delight to use....
You can define success any way you like. But I'm happy with the direction of the project, and I'm thankful for everyone who has helped make it happen.
