I left reddit on june 12th last year in protest of spez's decision to change the reddit api from being free as in free beer to an unbelievably expensive cost. That same day, I joined lemmy on a now abandoned account....

Even though it’s against main lemmy instances rules...

Just trying to check and make sure I never missed any. Is it just writefreely and plume right now?

Constantly users from lemmy.world and lemm.ee are downvoting posts in languages other than english....

Seeing more "cake days" pop up lately, it seems we're approaching (or in) the 1 yr anniversary of the Reddit migration....

I'm happy to announce that the a.gup.pe Mastodon groups now federate into Lemmy. Previously they were just empty communities, but now they're being filled with content. Fantastic news....

https://disroot.org provides several decentralized federated services, as email and xmpp, besides other cloud services as well... But not sure if asking here is right or not, but don't know anywhere to ask either......
