Hmmh, your post shows 04:50 in the morning. That's definitely a time even the insomniacs would be asleep in Europe.
It's a bit better for us. When I go to bed, the Americans from the east start to come home from work. (And there is a good amount of Germans here on Lemmy.)
Be the change you want to see. On Lemmy, it actually matters to the entire community what you do. If you post a few things every day, other people in the same area will see some activity. :)
These questions helped me: picture yourself in 5-10 years, who do you want to be, what do you need to do to get there? What can YOU do, without any outside help?
What kind of people would you like to find? What do you like to do or always wanted to try?
Yeah that's good advice, and to cement the truth in this thinking, picture yourself 5 years ago, you would have no idea you'd end up where you are now, so you never know where you'll be 5 years from now, use that as a parachute to not spiral into despair
