Mozilla has blocked users in Russia from loading several censorship-bypassing add-ons into Firefox. I am somewhat puzzled by this. Why would Mozilla want to do this? Also, why would it be effective? I understand it, you can load an add-on into Firefox if you can access a page where it is distributed.
