Oh no dude, that wasn't referred to you at all, I got and enjoyed your lighthearted humour, the comment was a just general consideration on the rhetoric I too often encounter when diving into a heavily controversial threads on the interweb; e.g. usually a rando with 5 figures karma points will suddenly pop up out of nowhere bringing up bro'mbastically that in his own singular experience the argument was true/false, therefore whatever was the hypothesis, or the wall of text of fact-checked peer-reviewed argumentation presented, it surely must be simply correct/wrong...and everyone lived happily ever after in demagogyland.

Italy's politicians in a fantastically backward and utterly brain farted move has made "synthetic meat" outlaw, for study, production, sale and consume, like already some months ago, just to please the local (read: national) farmers lobby. Consumers payments deserves their privacy, but business ones needs absolutely to be fully traceable.

Could it be possible to use two different yet identical interchangeable currencies, one traceable for making business only, and one untraceable for consumers retail transactions?

loosely i.e.

  • wages are Business currency converted and paid in Consumer currency, accounted for the amount paid to the consumer in his name
  • end-users/home/consumer purchases are made from consumers anonymously in Consumer currency, and this is converted converted into Business currency upon transaction, keeping only the consumer name anonymous but tracing everything else
  • B2B transactions are made in Business currency, fully traceable

... I don't know there is probably still a loophole

The point is that as as someone else also pointed out he's not alone, just there is a difference between the people who he is allowed to meet and those he'd like to meet. That is an integral feature about being jailed as opposed to walking free, and in his case there is a good reason for that.

Of course I wish he too could be one day reintegrated into the society, and the Norway jail system is mile ahead of most any other country in this, especially the US, but from his requests from the article this doesn't seems the case yet, at all.
