Reenacting memory: 2008 Grant Tactical along the Chesapeake.

From the all day battle, a neat moment. Both armies had pickets facing each other a little farther down the road while there was a pause to refresh the bodies and muskets!

Reenacting Memory: 2008 War of 1812 Grand Tactical at Jefferson Patterson in Maryland.

One of my favourite memories. We fought our way off of this point and had a 6 hour running engagement with the Americans across fields, beaches, through woods.

Re-enacting Memory: from a 2017 Battle of the Longwoods event.

The anniversary of the actual 1814 event is today.

The reenactment normally happens the first weekend of May.

It can be warm enough to camp but we often see ice in the water buckets!

In this insightful and entertaining talk, Graham not only revealed what he could find of Eddie McKay's early life and First World War service, but he also shared incredible insights around the evolution of flight, aircraft and tactics during the First World War. The service and sacrifice of these men is heart rending.
