@vampiress I would've loved one of these a few days ago when I was tuning PID loops to control the spaceships in my project.

Rather than the tweak-compile-test loop, bind the value to a cool knob on my keyboard. Tune it in real time. Maximum cool.

Fungus nerds! I need your help!

These weird little cups are growing up out of the mulch in the garden bed in shady spots. We live in Brisbane, Australia.

They're about 9mm high and have a 7mm opening at the top. They appear to contain 3-8 silvery-grey... coins? Seeds? Spores? Some are closed over at the top with an off-white cap. They are bristly on the undersides of the "cup" portion.

For now I'm calling them "fairy boba". They are very cool.

    @vampiress Every RTS I've played learned so much from Dune II, with the notable exception of voiced announcements with cardinal directions.

    "Wormsign to the East!" was so helpful and evocative! Why hasn't anyone copied this?

    @vampiress Don't steam sales usually result in huge increases in net income, especially for indie devs? I'm certain I've heard @Pentadact talk about this at some point. I thought it was in a blog post on his website but I'm drawing a blank.
