Wiping out Hamas was always a pipe dream. I also don't think Netanyahu is stupid enough to think it was actually possible. I believe that was just said to hide the real plan: the liquidation of Concentration Camp Gaza so it can be resettled.

Even if they wanted to destroy Hamas, humiliating and murdering civilians while also leveling their homes and infrastructure is like, the worst way to do it. Because it further radicalises the populace and shows other organisations like Hezbollah they were right to denounce Israel outright.

What I'm saying is it helps them recruit desperate people.

I will say it again.

The International Court of Justice ruled past friday that there's a plausible risk of genocide in , and it gave specific instructions to to prevent a genocide. Those measures also imply other members of the Genocide Convention, such as the US, Canada, UK, etc.

Still, instead of following the court ruling, the Western nations have decided to cut funding to the UN humanitarian relief agency , that implies furthering the risk of genocide.

If I'm getting the story straight, first Israel wanted to get rid of , then they tortured some unlawfully detained Palestinians into "confessing" Hamas had infiltrated it, and based on those confessions, they made NATO countries pull their funding from UNRWA. In spite of it being proved, back in the Bush years and the "war on terror", that torture doesn't provide good intel, as people will say anything to make it stop.

Just stop for a second and think that over.

This whole UNRWA charade really shows, that "terrorist" isn't a word carrying a specific meaning anymore. It just shows which side has western support, and which doesn't.

As you had previously pointed out, we might as well call Israel a terrorist state just like we did with Russia, but it's not happening. It doesn't matter if Israel kills 50k Palestinians in the coming months, it's all justified by the fight against terror.

A fucking mad world, I tell you.

Today Israeli forces evacuated at gun point displaced civilians from Khan Younis to Rafah, shooting and killing some. These people had already evacuated their homes and fled to the south, only to be expelled again further south. It's impossible to feed, supply water or medicine if you keep expelling the people. This after the ruling.

The IOF also bombed Khan Younis.

Deaths by starvation are rising, and they won't stop until the IOF pulls back.

It truly baffles me, how Israel attacks the Palestinian Red Crescent ambulance, justifying it with "Hamas militants dressing up as humanitarian aid" and bombing the shit out of the Hospital with 700+ wounded and many more displaced there after the ICJ ruling and the world is like "Israel has the right to defend itself".

What a dark time to be alive, huh?
