@Ailantd He hangs out in the center of the Earth, of course, awaiting an opportunity to fight another monster or the Japanese military.

Seeing him in person is difficult for me. Godzilla often arises in Japan, for unknown reasons.

After the Son of Godzilla exertions years ago that were memorialized in celluloid, the misunderstood monster and his family may still be recuperating. I, for one, wish them well, and look forward to seeing them in the news soon, probably terrifying Tokyo.

In our system of governance, is not a dictator. Whatever new laws someone dreams up to make this a better place to live must be passed by & , which POTUS has no control over. Russians can't win a hot war. They just undermine democracies from within. All over social media, I am seeing Republicans calling for Biden to pardon Trump.

They want a pardon for the guy who rallied people to chant “lock her up” about Hillary Clinton. The guy who wants to overrule the US justice system by getting reelected and pardoning violent insurrectionists from January 6. The guy who despises NATO and applauds Putin. They want Biden to pardon the man who threatened Biden and has presented himself with the words “I am your retribution”.

    It has a nice package manager on the bottom bar. To delve deeper to see more detail about available apps, under Administration, choose synaptic.

    It comes with a nice Libre Office bundle for documents, spreadsheets, etc., and you won't get hit up for a subscription. It's free & very compatible.

    @GottaLaff @greenorchids The exhaust damper incident was 10 hours before. If it didn't damage the engines, I can't see how it was directly a cause. It's more the response to the backup generator failing - switching transformers and circuit breaker panels - suggesting electric fuel pumps or something similar. I've had electric fuel pumps fail, and it's not easy to find the cause (eg: a bad wire). It reads like the crew made a guess & got going when the power held for longer than before.

    Friends. I don't get it.

    I understand the idea of a loan: borrow money, pay it back over time plus a fee for the favor of having more money sooner.

    I understand having a company and taking out a loan: borrow money to do something to help the company make more money and pay it off... but it's OK you made enough that it was a good idea.

    But HOW can someone borrow money to BUY a company then say the cost of the loan should go on the companies books?

    I don't get it. :(
